Thinking of the Founders (Fathers and Mothers) of the United States

There is a new mini-series on HBO concerning John Adams. I like to study history and mind most of the information already known to me except for the relationship between John and his wife, Abigail. She was wise and he fortunate to have her for a life's partner. That said, I would like to go to the thought derived from a statement by Jefferson. Given the recent history of our nation, perhaps it would be wise to challenge more forcefully those elected to represent us to actually take legal actions against the two leaders of the government residing on Pennsylvania Avenue.
